These pieces could easily be found in any jewelry department today. Again, I see a trend in contemporary design that has a vintage, but modern look.
The watch above has a very contemporary chain link band with encrusted diamonds or rhinestones around the face, but it's from the Victorian era.
The brooch also looks very contemporary. Entwined hearts are everywhere in jewelry designs today. And the knot above them is also a very popular element in jewelry today.
If definitely seems like contemporary jewelry designs are influenced by the designs from the Victorian era and I for one am so excited to see it.
