Vintage University of Pennsylvania's Mask and Wig Club's Little Red Riding Hood Poster from 1897
Back in the 1800's colleges were open to men only so when the University of Pennsylvania formed a musical comedy troupe called the Mask and Wig Club it too consisted entirely of men. And of course if there were female roles they had to be performed by men.
Here is a poster from the University of Pennsylvania's Mask and Wig Club's performance of Little Red Riding Hood.
