Edmund Dulac Illustrations

Born in France in 1882 Edmund Dular was one of the premier illustrators during what's called The Golden Age of Illustration during the first quarter of the 20th century.  At the age of 22 Dulac received the commission to illustrate of collective works of the Bronte sisters.


Later in his career his designed postage stamps for Great Britain, including the stamp to commemorate the coronation of King George VI issued in 1937.  He was also one of the designers of the first stamps of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
