These images remind me of when I was in the 6th grade and we had to learn how to square dance which required us to hold hands with our classmates. I remember some of the kids were still in the "girls (or boys) have cooties" stage but most of us enjoyed the experience, after all it was better than doing math!
But the experience actually let us get a feeling for what being an adult was like. The boys were expected to act as gentlemen and I think we were all pretty surprised at the fun we actually had.
